Derealized Dunescape

In Derealized Dunescape, the familiar, earthy expanse of dunes is transformed into an uncanny and surreal tableau. The figures, seemingly disconnected from time and place, blur at the edges, symbolizing the fractured perception of reality often experienced during moments of dissociation or derealization. The figures in motion are not entirely present, their identities fading into the landscape, as if they are dissolving into the twilight of the mind itself.

This series captures the sensation of being physically present but mentally removed, enveloped by a natural environment that feels simultaneously comforting and alien. The looming sky, wide open and indifferent, contrasts the disjointed figures below, reflecting a disconnection between inner consciousness and the external world.
